As a fitness and nutrition coach, I’m able to provide no nonsense training, honest advice and nutritional advice that you can trust.

I started working with Adam over 5 yrs ago as I wanted to lose weight and improve my
fitness. Initially our PT sessions were focussed on these 2 goals, but when I discovered and
fell in love with running Adam adapted our training sessions so they helped me get the best
out of my running. With Adams encouragement my fitness goals evolved to be more running
focused. Adams PT sessions, training plans and nutrition advice have helped me achieve so
much and smash my goals. To date I have completed five half marathons and one full
marathon with a target of completing more marathons and possibly a half iron man in the
future with Adams support. I would recommend Adam to anyone who is looking for a
Personal Trainer who is knowledgeable in his field and keep you focused on and helps you

As a female it can be somewhat intimidating working with a male PT, however Adam is
really welcoming and puts any worries you have at ease, really taking the time to understand
his clients. Adam has a fantastic knowledge base and always drops in key nutrition and
fitness information along the way. Whilst there are plenty of one off programmes out there I
feel that having weekly sessions gives me accountability and motivates me to push myself
much more than i would if I went it alone. Adam is always there to provide help and support
in between my sessions if needed and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending him to friends

I found out I was Pre-diabetic at the start of 2020 and to address this I approached Adam
Glover with regards to personal training. Through his training regimen I have become
immensely fitter and more toned. Able to do things that were unthinkable at the start.
Through his nutritional advice I found I was able to change my eating habits without falling
into a cycle of comfort eating due to having a “bad meal” or a “bad day”. He also helped me
to not see food as “good or “bad” but rather part of a whole. Improving my relationship with
my day to day diet. At my six month review I found that my sugar levels had dropped back
into the healthy range and whilst I will be monitored annually due to the initial rise. The relief that I was no longer in the danger zone was immense. As a by product, I also found that
through his training I dropped down 3 dress sizes, moving from a size 22 to a Size 16. So
overall it has been a great success.

How do group sessions work?

My group personal training sessions are limited to 4 people to ensure that a high level of attention can be paid to each individual in the group. They’re designed to help improve your confidence and ability with lifting weights, avoiding injury and how to move correctly in the gym with a safe technique.

Whilst these sessions are structured, they’re relaxed and enjoyable with no added pressure! I want to make sure that everybody who participates in these group sessions gets something out of each session and importantly, enjoys them.

The sessions help keep you accountable for your progress, help push your limits and improve your knowledge and understanding of your own fitness and nutrition. As a personal trainer in Loughborough,I work with so many individuals that have unique requirements and wants, I try to ensure that each session takes these into consideration to ensure that everybody within the group progresses.

What gets covered?

During our group personal training sessions, we’ll cover a wide variety of things from correct technique to moving around the gym and how to use the equipment in the most efficient way. 

Sessions are often tailored to the group’s needs as a collective and as a result, the content of these sessions can differ depending on what the group wants to achieve. This can be training for weight loss, muscle gain or simply to improve fitness. 

There’s so many different pieces of equipment in and around the gym that it can be difficult to know where to start, so once we’ve figured out our goals we’ll look at which machines and practices we need to use in order to reach them. You’ll learn how to correctly lift weights, adjust machinery, adapt your diet, better your understanding of different exercise types and so much more! 

My group sessions are small enough for each individual to share their aims and aspirations and. Have them heard. I’m always ready and eager to help!
